Nominations for the CSL Florey Medal are now open - deadline 29 June 2009.

AAMRI are proud to announce that the Florey Medal will be presented at the AAMRI Annual Dinner on Monday, 9 November in Sydney.  The medal and a $25,000 prize will be awarded to an Australian biomedical researcher for significant achievements in biomedical science and human health advancement for research primarily conducted in Australia. Previous winners include Professor Ian Frazer and Professor Peter Colman. To nominate a scientist from your Institute, or for more information on the Florey Medal, please click here.

The Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI) represents 38 independent medical research institutes across Australia. AAMRI was founded in 1993 to promote their interests to government, industry and the public and to advance medical research. Medical research institutes are independent not-for-profit organisations, closely affiliated with the health sector, hospitals, and universities.
